Mindfulness & Meditation

What is mindfulness and meditation?

How can it help me?

If you're new to mindfulness and meditation, you might be wondering what it's all about.

Mindfulness is being in the moment (or being present) and knowing what's happening while it's happening.  Bringing non-judgemental awarement to the present moment.  So, we can be mindful in all aspects of our lives.  In order to meditate we must be mindful, aware of mind and body.

Mindfulness and meditation have been scientifically proven to have many benefits and we've included a few below.

  • Reducing stress and anxiety

  • Improving focus and concentration

  • Managing anger

  • Teaching us to respond rather than to react

  • Managing pain

  • Improving communication

  • Creating feelings of calm and relaxation
